[.i'll beg you not to leave.]

so it seems that this only gets updated every 2 or so weeks......so, i apologize.

life has been great lately! there's been so much going on! 

hmmm, let's recap the festivities.

i blogged last time about 2 lessons that I was teaching. they both went REALLY REALLY well. my social studies lesson was on creating maps. i have never seen a group of students be so excited about creating a classroom map. when i told them that we were making maps, one of my boys came up to me and said "come here and give me a hug!" are you kidding me?! who wouldn't want to teach when you have students like this?! my professors were both extremely impressed with how well the lessons went. my science lesson on weather went really well! the kids were extremely engaged with the lesson, and we even "made" a thunderstorm. SOOOOOOO much fun!!!!!!! 

Let's see what else?! Oh, i went to my first Colts game at the new stadium! tyler's friends had tickets that they wanted to get rid of for the Colts/Patriots game - so you better believe we grabbed them! Enjoy the pictures....

this week is the start of the end - as weird as that may sound. i teach monday, tuesday, and wednesday this week - ALL day!!! I have created my own lessons and all the activities and what not. i'm really looking forward to doing what i want in my class. it's going to give me a good understanding of all that i need to work on when it comes to my teaching. 

after wednesday, it's all pretty much downhill for me. i only have 3 more projects to complete. it's so crazy to think about how fast this semester has gone by! it seems like just yesterday i was moving down to indy both scared and excited out of my mind about this experience! i just looked at my calendar and just realized i only have 10 more days left in my classroom. WOW!!!! i'm going to miss these kids so much!!!

alright, it's probably time for me to get outta here for now...

don't think i don't think about it.

okay. i apologize. talk about a long time - i can't believe it's november already!!!!! i'm LOVING fall! the leaves are starting to change and the temperatures are cooling down - especially the winter spell last week! yikes - i was NOT ready for that.

school is going great. only about 20 more days left in the classroom! definitely mixed emotions about this. part of me definitely misses being on campus, but i absolutely love being with my students. this week we had them make musical instruments. on friday, we traveled around to several classrooms to play music. they LOVED it! things like this make me so extremely excited to have my own classroom. 

this past week, i got to have a display at the children's museum with my peers for my college classes. we all had to pick a topic and create self-directed activities for students. we set up our displays and allowed the museum visitors to participate in our activities. it was pretty fun. most of the kids were extremely young, so we all had to do a bit of adjusting to do! but, it was definitely a lot of fun! 

i went to st. louis a few weekends ago to visit miss kristen! talk about a good time! i can't even begin to tell you how much i missed that girl! kristen and i have this friendship that no one seems to understand. anyways, enjoy some pictures from an amazing weekend! :)

nothing too much to look forward to in the next week. i'm getting a lesson observed, but lately those haven't been too stressful. it's a science lesson about weather, so we'll see how that goes.
