instead of making excuses, i'll just fill you in on everything!
spring break: tyler and i drove up to fort wayne for the first weekend. we all piled in the car and headed up to michigan to go to birch run. talk about a fun weekend - lots of shopping and laughter! upon the return, tyler and i headed down to good ol' knightstown to spend time with his family. we were actually able to go visit our students too! talk about a good time! oh my goodness, i couldn't believe how much i missed them! anyways, after a few days, i drove up to fort wayne to spend some more time with the family.
6 months: WOW! Seems like Tyler and I have been together much longer than this - and yes, I mean that in a good way! :) Our actual 6 month mark was on Wednesday, but since we have night class we decided to celebrate all week. I'd been begging Tyler to go on a picnic since the weather has turned spring-like. We looked at the weather and discovered that Tuesday was supposed to be gorgeous, so we penciled in our picnic. We got to Tuesday and the weather was amazing. We grabbed some Arby's, because of course - we had a coupon! :) We spent about 2 hours outside before we had to go to night class. Moving onto Thursday... If anyone knows my schedule, you know that Thursdays are my extremely crazy, long days. As I was leaving work, I got a text from Tyler telling me that I wasn't allowed to come over yet. So I waited and waited and waited until I got approval. I knock on his door and he tells me that I have to shut my eyes. He leads me through his apartment into the dining room. As I open my eyes, I see that he made dinner - complete with GORGEOUS red roses! Ahhhh, talk about amazing!

student teaching: i will be student teaching next fall. i have yet to find out where i will be placed at. it will most likely be up in fort wayne though. i am very impatiently waiting for the placement to be posted though. i'll let you all know as soon as i hear anything!
