raise your hands if you are completely blown away that it's already JUNE! holy guacamole!
the school year ended extremely well! i was set to get a 3.9 GPA this semester, but my lovely professor boosted my grade just the ONE POINT i needed and ended up with a 4.0! Cheers for that! :)
about a week ago, i received confirmation of my student teaching placement.....ABOUT TIME! i received an e-mail from ball state saying that southwest allen had sent back ALL ball state student teaching applications in the middle of may and they were left to quickly find us a placement, since most places are already full by this point. luckily, they were able to find me a placement in a kindergarten classroom at south adams elementary school in Berne. now i know what you all are thinking....man that's a long way away! no doubt! i'll be living at home during the fall semester driving to and from berne everyday, but luckily there is another girl who is facing the same situation - so we'll be carpooling! as spring semester rolls around, i will most likely be moving back to muncie to finish my LAST SEMESTER as a undergrad! Cheers for that too! :)
i've been spending my summer working...boo! but, it's not all that bad. i am working at ball state as a secretary (which is also my job during the school year) and i also got a job at old navy. between those two jobs, i'm working as close to full time as possible. i have a big vacation planned with tyler's family at the end of june, so i'm definitely looking forward to the break!
other than that, there's not much new going on...
i wish i could say that my life was more exciting than this...haha!
